Entergy Corporation
 |
Entergy is a diversified electric and natural gas energy company serving
2.5 million customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas.
UtiliDoc,
in a strategic partnership with Truepro Consulting Services, provided consulting and programming services to produce invoices
and notices for their
SAP/CCS customer information system. This CSF-based system was
implemented in both the retail and distribution (regulated) environments, and
was rolled out in several phases from 2001 through 2003. This
implementation also took advantage of CSF' XML Output Driver to
generate XML output that is sent to CheckFree for the creation of HTML-based internet bills
with embedded links to electronic (PDF) versions of bill enclosures.
|
|
 |
At the left is a sample invoice similar to that produced
at Entergy, for a customer with electric and gas service, on a "levelized"
budget billing program. Their levelized billing information has a
section to show in detail how it is calculated, and their "actual bill"
calculation, based on the meter readings recieved, is shown in a shaded
box just below that. This sample shows a 2-page invoice, but the
large majority of invoices are simpler than this, and fit on 1 page.
This invoice was developed by UitliDoc using CSF Workshop 2.3, with batch
processing running on CSF MVS 4.5.0.
